PMP ITU-R P.618-14
Recommendation ITU-R P.618-14 is basic propagation model used for calculation transmission loss in satellite link.
Transmission loss is dB sum of several components:
- Free space loss in accordance with ITU-R P.525 (already implemented in SEAMCAT)
- Total atmospheric attenuation
- Gaseous attenuation
- Cloud and fog attenuation
- Rain attenuation
- Attenuation due to tropospheric scintillation
- etc.
Implement this PMP in SEAMCAT.
